Absent sources are excluded — a stock with 2 strong sources can score higher than one with 4 mixed sources.

Accepted Answer

Scores above 70 with 3–4 sources aligned are the strongest. Below 35 may indicate conflicting sources. The Confidence column shows how many of the 4 sources have data for each stock — higher source count means a more robust score.

How are sources weighted?

Accepted Answer

Institutional 40%, Insider 25%, Activist 15%, Congressional 20%. Insider selling is dampened 0.6x (buys are 2–3x more informative per academic research). Activist sources are direction-aware via FIRST-vs-LATEST filing ownership change with decay weighting.
